【摘要】:5.1Duringpreconstructionandconstructionevaluations,useofthesetestmethodsestablishesspecificandoverallperformancecharacteristicsforthemortarsystem.5.2Preconstructiontestingofmortarsprebatchedbyweightprovidesinformationfortheselectionoftheindividualmortarsystembestsuitedforthemasonrytobeconstructed.Therecommendedtestsandtheirsignificanceareasfollows:5.2.1Consistencydeterminationsbyconepenetrationallowgagingthewateradditionsforallmortarsincludedinthepreconstructiontestseries.Evenifthemortarconsistencyasmeasuredattheconstructionsiteisatadifferentpenetrationvaluethanthosemeasuredduringthepreconstructiontests,theconepreparationtestservestostandardizewateradditionsformortarsbeingconsideredasalternativesbeforeconstruction.Additionaltestingofmortarwatercontent-consistencyrelationships(AnnexA4)willallowrelatingthesetwofactorstobatch-to-batchvariationsattheconstructionsite.5.2.2Consistencyretentionbyconepenetrationusingdisturbedorundisturbedmortarsamplesprovidesameansofestablishingtheearly-agesettingandstiffeningcharacteristicsofthemortars.Becauselaboratorytestingisconductedunderstaticclimaticconditions,consistency1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforthesamplingandtestingofmortarsforcompositionandfortheirplasticandhardenedproperties,eitherbeforeorduringtheiractualuseinconstruction.Note18212;GuideC1586providesguidanceonevaluatingmortarandclarifiesthepurposeofboththistestmethodandSpecificationC270.Note28212;ThetestingagencyperformingthistestmethodshouldbeevaluatedinaccordancewithPracticeC1093.1.2PreconstructionEvaluation-Thistestmethodpermitscomparisonsofmortarsmadefromdifferentmaterialsundersimulatedfieldconditions.Itisalsousedtoestablishbaselinevaluesforcomparativeevaluationoffieldmortars.1.3ConstructionEvaluation-Useofthismethodinthefieldprovidesameansforqualityassuranceoffield-mixedmortar.Itincludesmethodsforverifyingthemortarmixproportions,comparingtestresultsforfieldmortarstopreconstructiontesting,anddeterminingbatch-to-batchuniformityofthemortar.1.4Thetestresultsobtainedunderthistestmethodarenotrequiredtomeettheminimumcompressivevaluesinaccordancewit
