【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverphysicalandelectricaltestsforsolidfillingandtreatingcompoundsusedforelectricalinsulationwhicharefusibletoaliquidwithoutsignificantchemicalreaction.Compoundsthatareconvertedtothesolidstatebypolymerization,condensation,orotherchemicalreactionarenotincludedinthesetestmethods.Thesetestmethodsaredesignedprimarilyforasphalticorbituminouscompounds,waxes,andfusibleresins,ormixturesthereof,althoughsomeofthesemethodsareapplicabletosemisolidtypessuchaspetrolatums.SpecialmethodsmoresuitableforhydrocarbonwaxesarecontainedinTestMethodsD1168.Provideadequateventilationwhenthesetestsinvolveheating.Thetestmethodsappearinthefollowingsections:ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeand.Note1ThereisnosimilarorequivalentIECorISOstandard.
