【摘要】:1.1Thisguideprovidesamethodologyforevaluatingthepredictivecapabilitiesofafiremodelforaspecificuse.Theintentistocoverthewholerangeofdeterministicnumericalmodelswhichmightbeusedinevaluatingtheeffectsoffiresinandonstructures.1.2Themethodologyispresentedintermsoffourareasofevaluation:1.2.1Definingthemodelandscenariosforwhichtheevaluationistobeconducted,1.2.2Verifyingtheappropriatenessofthetheoreticalbasisandassumptionsusedinthemodel,1.2.3Verifyingthemathematicalandnumericalrobustnessofthemodel,and1.2.4Quantifyingtheuncertaintyandaccuracyofthemodelresultsinpredictingofthecourseofeventsinsimilarfirescenarios.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4ThisguideassumesunderstandingoftheuseandlimitationsofthemodelunderanalysisasdetailedinGuideE1895.1.5Thisfirestandardcannotbeusedtoprovidequantitativemeasures.
